For professionals: these skin-tone set will help you produce color-perfect portraits in much less time. If you pause work on a portrait, you can recover your skin tones without re-mixing. The paints are professional grade with rich pigments and excellent light-fastness. To our knowledge there is no higher grade of acrylic paint available.
For beginners: mixing colors is an important and difficult part of an artist's work. Without expert mixing, tube-colors often don't match realistic skin tones. If you're looking to get started painting, these paints can help you focus on painting rather than mixing.

These six professional grade heavy body acrylic paint colors are a great starting point to create endless skin tone options ranging from light to dark.
Retail options for skin tone colors are currently limited and might only offer paint that is too orange (ex: Oompa Loompa) or too pink (ex: Peppa Pig). Heather Wolfe developed these skin tones to ensure accurate true-to-life color despite changes to environmental lighting; especially when painting live on location / plein air.

About Heather
Heather has painted thousands of portraits during her career as a live event painter. Painting for an audience in real-time demands speed and accuracy. Heather quickly realized the time she spent mixing skin tones on-site was slowing her down. Furthermore, weddings are known to have significant light changes. As a self-described "color fanatic" Heather developed her own line of skin tones to ensure her portraits are color-perfect. These paints are what Heather uses to this day. These took years of development and refinement to produce the ideal skin tone set that is not available anywhere else.
